Reopening 8th March 2021
Further to the latest announcement that school's will return on 8th March, we are very excited to say that TJ's will also reopen our doors on 8th March (subject to school's approval), albeit with a few changes.
Due to the low numbers prior to the lockdown, we have decided to only offer the 4.30pm after school club session. We know that this will affect some of you but it is not viable for us to stay open for the few children that attend after this time. We feel that this is necessary for us to ensure the longevity of the club but consider this to be a short-term measure that will be reviewed during the Easter holidays.
If you have already booked the later session for dates between the 8th March and 1st April, these have now been cancelled by us so please rebook the sessions you need for a 4.30pm collection. The later collection times are now unavailable. Breakfast club sessions will remain unaltered and pre-bookings are still in place. We strongly recommend that you check your bookings to ensure that you have the correct sessions in place.
We would like to reiterate that we believe that this will be a short-term measure and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We will continue our previous covid-19 safety measures as below:
We will be putting safety measures in place personalised for each site to keep our staff and children safe.
The main principles will be:
- bubbles for the children based as closely to the school bubbles as possible
- streamlined resources to ensure only items that are easy to clean are in use
- increased frequency of hand washing
- increased frequency of cleaning resources and equipment
- outdoor play as often as possible
- no parents/visitors on site

Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information.
As always, thank you for your continued support and we very much look forward to greeting you and your children from the 8th of March.
Tryphaena, Jo and all the TJ's Club team.
In 2010, two parents got talking on the school playground…and haven’t stopped since. We realised that, with our mutual childcare backgrounds and parental experience, we could assist schools with their requirement to provide extended services for parents.
TJ’s Club was born and from first opening our doors in January 2011, we now provide out of school care at 4 schools in the Fareham and Gosport area, offering breakfast and after school club sessions for children aged 4-11 years old.
All sites are Ofsted registered and all our staff are friendly and approachable with many years of childcare experience between them, so you can be assured that your child will be kept safe and entertained in an environment that encourages independence, relaxation and socialisation.
Our website should answer all your questions but if you require any more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
