Since gaining my NNEB in 1996, my career has seen me working in both Nursery and school settings, as well as various administration roles.

My relationship with Redlands began when my edest daughter started in Year R back in 2003, and has seen me work at the school as an LSA, Clerk to Governors and a couple of years as Chair of Freinds of Redlands.  Being a Mum of 5, and having worked with children from pre-school up to year 6 I am used to interacting with children of a wide age range, and love being able to provide them with different opportunities within our setting.

Seeing TJ's Club grow into the success it is, makes me feel very proud but I know it wouldn't have happened if Jo and I didn't have such a great relationship and work so well together.  We strive to bring a flexible, quality service for parents and carers, as well as a fun and relaxing atmosphere for the children to enjoy.

My career in childcare started in 2006 when I stumbled upon a job at an After School Club whilst enquiring about fees for the attached nursery! After 4 happy years, during which time I achieved my NVQ Level 3 Playworker qualification and I progresed to Deputy, my son started at Redlands Primary School.

Having to now consider school pick up times and my daughter (who was 18 months old at the time), I had to rethink my working hours.  Our playground discussions about a Breakfast Club started to form into a solid idea.

Since TJ's Club opened in 2011, I have worked at another pre-school which allowed me to gain my Children and Young Person's Workforce qualification, (Level 3 equivalent), as well as gaining more experience of working with young children and being keyworker for up to 10 children.  When this pre-school closed it's doors in July 2014, it allowed me the time to concentrate on organising the progression to our own After School Club.

Your child will find me fun-loving and nurturing, firm but fair.  You have the peace of mind of knowing that your child will be cared for in a caring and professional manner in your absence.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to look after your most precious possession.

Since qualifying with my NNEB in 1998 I have worked as a private nanny, in an after school club, nursery schools as a keyworker and most recently as a team leader in a baby unit, where I over saw a team of 4 staff and worked closely alongside management. I have experience with a wide age range of children not only through working with them but as a parent myself.

My relationship with Redlands started when my son joined yr R (he is about to start secondary school!) I also have a daughter at Redlands and over the years have helped out on school trips as often as possible.

I am looking forward to be part of the TJ's team and can't wait to get to know your little ones and yourselves.

I have been at College for the last two years studying childcare where I've had experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in Nursery and School settings.  Once I completed my course in June 2016, I began to look for a job and came across TJ's Club.  Since starting work I have enjoyed being a part of TJ's and getting to know and work with the children.

I have a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Childcare that I finished in 2012.  Since qualifying I worked in a Nursery for a few years.  I gained experience working in all three rooms covering ages from 0-4 years and loved it!  Shortly after, I had my daughter and needed a job that would fit in with her nursery hours.  I stumbled across TJ's job advertisement and thought it was perfect.  I am now loving working with such lovely staff and children.  I'm lucky to spend time with my girl but also continue doing the job I love - working with your children!.
